I have nine years of personal recovery experience and six years of mentoring individuals on their recovery journeys. I volunteered at Turning Point, engaged in 12-step programs, and obtained a certificate in Recovery and Addictions Workshop Program from the Music Support Charity.
A sobriety mentor is a compassionate and supportive individual who provides guidance and encouragement to those seeking to maintain or achieve sobriety. They draw upon their personal experience with addiction and recovery to offer practical advice, accountability, and emotional support to individuals navigating the challenges of sobriety.
Sobriety mentors help their clients set and achieve sobriety goals, develop coping strategies for cravings and triggers, and build a strong support network. They offer a non-judgmental space for open communication, understanding, and empowerment, fostering a sense of hope and resilience in their clients’ recovery journey.
By sharing their own journey of overcoming addiction, a sobriety mentor serves as a role model and source of inspiration, demonstrating that long-term recovery is possible with dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to personal growth and well-being.
I would love to hear from you to talk about how I can tailor something unique and personal to you and support your journey.
